Paris Hilton – businesswomen, media icon, party heiress extraordinaire – is set to make an “unflinching, authorized documentary,” fittingly, about herself.

Directed by Don Argott and Sheena Joyce, the still-untitled film will cast a light on the “Stars Are Blind” songstress’ life and what contributed to her fame. Production will begin at the end of the summer in Ibiza, and Hilton, Jamie Freed (the executive producer behind Hilton’s 2011 TV series The World According to Paris), 9.14 Pictures and XYZ Films are producing the project.

“Paris Hilton is a modern day-Marilyn Monroe — beautiful, iconized, world famous, shaped by mass media, and misunderstood,” said Argott and Joyce in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “We are thrilled to work with Paris to explore her complicated relationship with the public, the press, and the politics that shape our perception of a modern celebrity.”
