Diplo & DJ Snake Accuse David Guetta Of Ripping Off “Lean On”
Diplo and DJ Snake aren’t happy with David Guetta. Guetta just released “This One’s for You,” which is also the 2016 UEFA Championship theme. But once Diplo and DJ Snake heard a teaser of the track, they immediately accused the French DJ of plagiarism.
Perhaps the producer-DJs were caught up in Zara Larsson‘s uplifting vocals or the seismic breakdown of the hook. Regardless, they say that Guetta made a “fake” version of their 2015 summer smash “Lean On,” featuring MØ.
By now, they’ve deleted all of the tweets that call out David by name. (This includes a photo of a dildo stuck on a poster of the French DJ’s face.) But what remains are warnings from them both that it’s “clapback season.” Hear their songs back to back, and see their accusations below.
Lanes are there for a reason.
