MNEK Is Back With Club Banger “At Night (I Think About You)”: Listen
MNEK is up to something.
The UK crooner has ferociously climbed the Hot 100 chart with single “Never Forget You” featuring Zara Larsson, managed to rack up a song-writing credit on Beyonce‘s Lemonade, and produced MØ‘s latest synth-pop gem “Final Song.” Now, the 21-year-old singer-songwriter is back with solo track “At Night (I Think About You).” Lo and behold – it’s another banger.
The track starts off on a whimsical foot, as MNEK sings love-sick lyrics over the twinkling melody: “In the morning I’m okay/ Just fine in the afternoon/ But at night, I think about you/ Like an echo in my brain/I wonder if you hear it too.” But before you know it, the track explodes into an infectious club floor-filler with a sprawling dance beat produced by MNEK himself.
