The last time Justin Timberlake made it to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 was back in April 2007, when Timbaland‘s “Give It To Me” (which featured Timberlake and Nelly Furtado) hit the #1 spot for two weeks. It capped a mighty run of chart-topping singles in JT’s FutureSex/LoveSounds era that included “SexyBack,” “My Love” and “What Goes Around… Comes Around.”

Further to those Justin classics, the 35-year-old crooner clocks his fifth #1 as a solo artist this week with Trolls soundtrack cut “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” Billboard notes that the song tops the Hot 100 on the strength of 379,000 paid downloads sold, marking the best sales week for a single in 2016. It’s also JT’s biggest sales week for a song ever, surpassing the 315,000 “Suit & Tie” opened with in 2013.

Between his own releases and features on those by others, Timberlake has racked 17 Top 10 singles as a solo artist between 2002 and 2016. If you factor in his stint with *NSYNC, that gives Justin a total of 23 Top 10s and six #1s, including 2000’s “It’s Gonna Be Me.”

Coming full circle, “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” also marks co-writer/co-producer Max Martin‘s 22nd #1 on the Hot 100 — the latest song in a 17-year streak that also includes “It’s Gonna Be Me.”
