Music video veteran Joseph Kahn has directed clips for everyone from Backstreet Boys (“Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”) to Britney Spears (“Stronger,” “Toxic,” “Womanizer”) to Taylor Swift (practically all of her 1989 visuals), and his latest stint behind the camera sees him collaborating with OneRepublic, for the band’s new single “Wherever I Go.”

Sons Of Anarchy and Wolf Of Wall Street actor Kenneth Choi takes up the bulk of the screen time here, as he plays a disgruntled office worker bent on changing his dreary, grey workplace into a multi-colored dance party. Ryan Tedder and the rest of OneRepublic pop up in a quick sequence where they perform behind a closed door, but it’s Choi’s giddy 9-to-5 fantasy sequence that makes this a true thrill.
