Who knew Sia was a Survivor super-fan?

The “Cheap Thrills” songstress made a surprise cameo on the Survivor: Kaôh Rōng reunion special. Why? Apparently she’s a huge fan of the show. The other reason? She wanted to donate $50,000 to a contestant named Tai Trang.

Throughout the past season, Tai – a 51-year-old gardener from San Francisco – safeguarded a chicken in Cambodia named Mark. Sia was so moved by their friendship that, in addition to donating $50,000 to Tai directly, she promised to donate another $50K to the animal charity of his choice.

“I could not let Tai go home without saying that your authenticity and your care for animals really inspired me,” Sia said to Tai. “I just want to say thank you for showing America how to be kind to animals.”
