Calvin Harris, the producer-DJ born Adam Wiles, was in a car crash last night (May 20) in Los Angeles.

“Adam’s transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport,” a statement reads, adding, “He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days.”

According to TMZ, Calvin was a passenger in a Cadillac SUV, when a VW Beetle convertible crossed the center line and crashed into his vehicle. He was hospitalized because of a laceration on his face. But because a private room wasn’t available, he soon left “against medical advice.”

Regardless, Calvin couldn’t perform at OMNIA nightclub in Las Vegas last night as scheduled. Meanwhile, the driver of the Beetle was reportedly a 16-year-old girl who was ejected from the vehicle.
