RedOne Says He Worked On Eight Songs For Lady Gaga’s New Album

We already knew RedOne is working with Lady Gaga on her new album, but the extent of his involvement was up in the air. After having a major hand in The Fame and The Fame Monster, her longtime producer was only credited on four Born This Way tracks and then just “Gypsy” on ARTPOP — but it appears now they’re back to their old level of collaboration.

In a new interview with Rhode Island’s WPRO, he revealed the extent of their latest partnership, saying they’ve worked on eight songs for LG5. When asked whether we’d see a new Gaga album at some point this year, he was mum, only revealing, “We did eight songs so far, let’s see what happens.”

Mark Ronson, Diane Warren and Elton John are also working on the new LP in some capacity. Most recently, Gaga was in the studio with Ronson, BloodPop and Tame Impala mastermind Kevin Parker, leading to speculation that the latter two are somehow involved in the project as well.
