Christina Aguilera Wants To Record A Duet With Beyonce
Now here’s something to think about. Christina Aguilera hit the red carpet last night (May 23) to do a little promo for The Voice finale and was asked about her dream duet partner. “I haven’t done Beyonce yet,” Xtina mused. “I think me and Beyonce would be a pretty fierce combination.” As for the direction? “We’d have to talk about it.” While it’s all very theoretical, this sounds like a great idea to me. There would be vocals upon vocals upon vocals!
The “Your Body” diva has been chipping away at album number eight for nearly two years, having worked with everyone from fellow Voice coach Pharrell to production duo Da Internz. With Christina’s judging duties coming to an end, hopefully she will get around to finishing the project. In the meantime, listen to Meghan Trainor’s “Kindly Calm Me Down” — a song originally intended for Xtina’s new album.
