Alicia Keys was the featured performer during the UEFA Champions League Final on May 28. This is a soccer match-turned-TV event that drew 180 million in 200 countries last year, which is more than those who watched the Super Bowl.
Still, the future Voice mentor rose to the occasion with a spirited performance during its opening ceremony. She punched up “Girl on Fire” with a Run-DMC instrumental, sang her hook to Jay Z‘s “Empire State of Mind” with a shoutout to Milan and seduced with her latest single “In Common.” Watch here.
