“Something tells me this will definitely happen. The funny thing is that it isn’t crazy at all. Vegas has always been an adult playground, so let’s not forget who the adults are right now. The 30-early 40 year old crowds that frequent Vegas’s electric streets grew up with NSYNC and Britney Spears. It honestly shocks me that the Backstreet Boys have yet to take up a lucrative residency, or for that matter Christina Aguilera. Her delusional manager fired shots at Britney claiming Christina’s career hasn’t “peaked” yet, but all shade throwing and jokes aside, Christina Aguilera hasn’t been able to sell a record let alone a full tour in over a decade. Meanwhile Britney is making literally millions of dollars.
A Las Vegas residency is a golden ticket for this generation of musicians. If you’ve got the hits to back it up, you’re almost crazy not to consider it. It’s constant promotion, constant butts in the seats, and it’s easier than touring BY FAR.
