Ryan Tedder On Working With Harry Styles: “He’s A Phenomenally Talented Writer”
With former One Direction member Zayn Malik‘s solo debut out in the world, Harry Styles is slated to be the next 1D star to break out on his own. He’s rumored to be working on an album, and he’ll be in Christopher Nolan‘s WWII film, Dunkirk. And now OneRepublic frontman and Beyoncé and Adele co-writer Ryan Tedder has praised Styles after working with him on some new material.
“We’ve done a couple of things, I have no idea what they’re for. I don’t know if he’s doing an album, I truthfully don’t,” Tedder told Key103 in a recent interview, according to NME. While he can’t be sure where the material will ultimately land, he was left impressed and wants to collaborate further with the 1D star.
“He’s a phenomenally talented writer. You know they say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but clearly the man has taste in a number of areas and that also is true with writing,” Tedder said. “I would love to write with him in the future for no other reason than he is one of the chillest dudes I’ve hung with and down to earth.”
