Daily Deal: Fitz And The Tantrums’ Self-Titled Album On iTunes

Fitz And The Tantrums‘ new self-titled album was made to be played on outdoor speakers and car stereos. Real loud.

While it’s quite the departure from their earlier stuff, Fitz And The Tantrums fits with the group’s evolution over the past six years. Their first album, 2010’s Pickin’ Up The Pieces, set a neo-retro, soulful tone; three years later, follow-up More Than Just A Dream skewed towards radio-friendly pop. Their upbeat, summery third full-length is a continuation of that trajectory, full of catchy hooks and synths.

The common thread connecting all their releases is that it’s music to dance to. So play this new one loud and sweat it out.

Fitz And The Tantrums is available on iTunes this Friday (June 10). You can check out their single, “HandClap,” below.
