Lady Gaga Shows Support For Hillary Clinton On Instagram: “Nothing Can Keep A Strong Woman Down”
It’s no secret that Lady Gaga is a fervent supporter of presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton. And since today (June 7) is the final Super Tuesday before the nominees head into the July conventions, Mother Monster took to Instagram to, once again, urge people to vote.
“#HILLARY2016 Nothing can keep a strong woman down,” Gaga wrote in the photo’s caption. “VOTE for the first female US president in history. Shake it up America, this country needs a little rock n’ roll. “
Gaga is the latest of many celebrities to show their support for Clinton in the last 24 hours alone. Cher also lauded the presumptive Democratic nominee during her speech at the “She’s With Us” concert, which featured performances from artists like Christina Aguilera, John Legend and Stevie Wonder.
