Madonna Performs “Borderline,” President Obama Slow Jams The News On ‘Fallon’: Watch

Late night television headliners don’t get much better than this.

President Barack Obama and Madonna stopped by The Tonight Show on Thursday night (June 9) for a truly historic episode. The Queen of Pop performed a poignant rendition of her 1983 hit “Borderline” amid smoky, mysterious spotlights while Obama joined show host Jimmy Fallon in “slow jamming” the news.

The president also spoke about his last eight months at the White House, noting that he trying not to get too sentimental about it.

“The work keeps you occupied,” he said. “You don’t want to be crying in the Oval Office.”
