Bruno Mars & Skrillex Are Cooking Up Something Major

Bruno Mars has been chipping away at the follow-up to 2012’s massive Unorthodox Jukebox, and expectations may have just gotten even higher thanks to a recent Skrillex interview. The producer and Bieber whisperer revealed to Billboard that he and Mars are working on something big.
“I’m actually working with Bruno Mars right now,” he said. “I’m not going to give specifics of what it sounds like, but what we’re doing is so fucking different, awesome and next level and sounds like nothing else that’s happened before.” That’s the confidence of a man who crafted a No. 1 hit and managed to make a smash out of human-dolphin vocals.
Mars is collaborating with Missy Elliott, too, but the endgame for that one is also unknown.
