Meghan Trainor's 'Thank You': Album Review
We review Meghan Trainor's much-anticipated sophomore LP 'Thank You.'

Sophia Grace is back. And she’s ditched the pink princess gown from when she was rapping Nicki Minaj‘s “Super Bass.” But the now-teenaged singer is still being her best self in her new single.

Like Meghan Trainor‘s “All About That Bass,” “Girl in the Mirror” is a doo-wop single that champions body positivity. “You’re too short, too fat, too skinny (hey!) / Well, excuse me if I think that I’m pretty,” she sings, her voice bearing a striking resemblance to Lily Allen‘s. “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” rapper Silento cheers her on throughout. He even nods to her sizeable following, which most aspiring artist would kill to have: “See you on YouTube with all them views.”

Yes, Sophia Grace is 13. But after becoming a household name frequently featured on Ellen, every once in a while, she drops a single that has actual impact. 2013’s “Girls Just Gotta Have Fun” has over 128 million YouTube views. Remember last year’s “Best Friends”? It broke the Hot 100.

Watch the video for what could be her next hit up top.
