Leona Lewis Releases Diane Warren-Written Ballad “We Are All (Looking For Home)”: Listen

She may soon be on the hunt for a new label once she departs Island Records, but that hasn’t stopped Leona Lewis from releasing a new single for a good cause. “We Are All (Looking For Home)” is a ballad penned by the always-prolific Diane Warren and recorded to bring awareness to and raise funds to prevent the abuse of canines around the world.

The song was released in partnership with Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills diva Lisa Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd‘s Vanderpump Dog Foundation, with a note that says “100% of all proceeds go to ending dog torture globally.”

We are very excited to be working alongside such innovative women like Diane and Leona,” Lisa Vanderpump says in a statement. “They are just as passionate about this campaign as we are, and we truly appreciate their support.’We Are All (Looking for Home)’ will support the Stop Yulin Forever campaign in particular.”

The Daily Mail reports that China’s annual Yulin dog meat festival sees dogs and cats crammed into rusty cages then sold off to be skinned, boiled and eaten. Also ahead of the festival, which takes place on June 21, celebrities like Matt Damon, Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix have recorded a PSA in a bid to stop animal cruelty.

Leona Lewis’ single “We Are All (Looking For Home)” is available to purnchase on iTunes and stream on Spotify.
