Rita Ora Signs New Label Deal With Atlantic

After filing a complaint to be released from Roc Nation and then, in turn, Roc Nation counter-suing her, things seem to have worked out okay after all for onetime UK X Factor judge Rita Ora. The “I Will Never Let You Down” singer, it was announced today, has signed a new worldwide deal with Warner Bros. subsidiary Atlantic Records UK.

“Music is my first love and I am looking forward to getting my new songs released,” Ora said via a press release. “I’m thankful to my new Atlantic Records family for all their support and encouragement. The next chapter is going to be incredible.”

To date, the 25-year-old Londoner has only released one studio album, 2012’s Ora, though she’s topped the UK singles chart four times. Her biggest stateside hit came thanks to her feature on Iggy Azalea‘s “Black Widow,” which climbed to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2014.

While not exactly being the artist with the most prolific output, Ora has kept busy with her coaching duties on The X Factor and by modeling — sometimes even with her shirt on. Rita announced in May, however, that her X Factor gig was in the past.

Let’s just hope the same goes for those Terry Richardson photo shoots.
