Demi Lovato Threatens To Quit Social Media After Backlash
Demi Lovato triggered a social media backlash over the weekend when she threw a little shade at Mariah Carey. The 23-year-old then added fuel to the fire by refusing to back down. “This is why I posted what I did,” she wrote on Instagram. “[Jennifer Lopez] keeps it classy but I’m not afraid to say shit. The woman is mean for no reason. Extremely talented? Yes. Superhuman? Possibly. Unnecessarily rude? Absolutey.” Of course, the Confident diva is referring to that now-legendary “I don’t know her” jibe.
Well, it looks like Demi has had enough because she’s now threatening to quit social media. “Damn I gotta quit sayin shit. Bye Twitter,” she tweeted this afternoon (June 20). “And insta.” The hitmaker then stirred the pot again before logging off. “But why do people actually give a fuck what I say?? like if you don’t care the gtfo haha.” See her mini-Twitter rant below.
