Troye Sivan Interview
Troye Sivan talks his debut LP, moving video trilogy and being an out pop star.

Alessia Cara joins Troye Sivan for a new version of Blue Neighbourhood highlight “Wild,” which arrives on Thursday (June 24). “GUYS I CANT WAIT FOR YOU TO HEAR WILD ALESSIA WROTE THE BEST VERSE AND SOUNDS SO GOOD N WE LIKE SPED IT UP SLIGHTLY MY HANDS ARE SWEATING,” the Aussie singer/songwriter said of the surprise collaboration. “THANK U FOR LETTING ME PUT SOME NEW LIL WORDS ON THE MOST LOVELY SONG IM EXCITED GOODNIGHT,” the “Here” hitmaker responded.

“Wild” was originally released in September, 2015 as the lead single of Troye’s similarly-titled EP. After the breakthrough success of “Youth,” which climbed all the way to number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100, this strikes me as a canny follow-up. The Alex Hope-produced track is one of the album’s catchiest cuts and its euphoric vibe will show pop’s favorite wallflowers in a different light. See their tweet exchange and listen to the original below.
