JoJo celebrated the 12th anniversary of self-titled debut album on Instagram this afternoon. “12 years ago TODAY, I was 13 years old, and I released my debut album,” the “When Love Hurts” singer wrote. “So surreal!!!! To say I’m sad and frustrated that this album is no longer available on iTunes or Spotify because of my previous label is a gross understatement.” Of course, she’s referring to her legendarily toxic relationship with Blackground Music, which put her career on pause for seven years.

“That was such an important time in my life and set a strong foundation for the career I’m building brick my brick,” the 25-year-old continued. “For those who’ve supported me since the beginning- THANK YOU FOR CHANGING MY LIFE YOURE THE FUCKING COOLEST I LOVE YOU MADLY FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!!!!” JoJo peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum. It produced the hits “Leave (Get Out)” and “Baby, It’s You.” Revisit them below.
