Pitbull & Becky G Perform “Superstar” At Copa América
Pitbull and Becky G performed “Superstar” live for the first time before last night’s (June 26) Copa América final between Argentina and Chile. And the Latin hitmakers, who previously joined forces on 2014 bop “Can’t Get Enough,” put on quite a show with dancers and fireworks. It’s hard to tell how live it is (the audio on the video is clearly out of sync), but who really cares? You’re looking to be entertained at a sporting event — and the unlikely duo certainly achieved that.
It’s shaping up to be a busy year for both. Mr. Worldwide is currently promoting 10th LP Climate Change with hit single “Messin’ Around” and The Bad Man Tour, which kicks off in Fresno, California on July 7. Meanwhile, Becky G made a welcome return to the pop scene last week with Spanish language single “Sola.” She had been pretty quiet on the music front since dropping sexy bop “Break A Sweat” last year, choosing to focus on acting instead.
