Tinashe Announces New Single “Super Love”
The wait for Tinashe‘s Joyride may finally be over. Earlier this week, while backstage at the BET Awards, she said to expect a brand new single from her soon.
“I have new music coming too that I’m so excited about,” Tinashe said to 95.7 The Beat. “I’ve been working on it for a while. The album is called Joyride. I’ve got a new single called ‘Super Love’ and I’m just so excited to get it out there. I’ve been working, putting my heart and soul into this new stuff.”
The pop-R&B singer added that “Super Love” is due out “in a few weeks.”
Tinashe first announced Joyride last fall, before she embarked a tour to help promote its release. But as she told Georgie magazine this spring, she initially went on the road because she thought her new music would be done by then. (She even canceled the trek to finish her album.) “The tour and all the stuff was created with the intentions that the album [would be] out,” she said.
