Shawn Mendes’ New Album Gets A Title And A Release Date
Shawn Mendes’ forthcoming sophomore album officially has a name and a release date. The singer-songwriter just announced that his highly-anticipated LP is called Illuminate and will be out on September 23 via Island Records. Illuminate is the official follow-up to his 2015 debut Handwritten and will feature his latest tropical-tinged single “Treat You Better.”
In addition to the album being available for pre-order on iTunes this Friday (July 8), Mendes will also preview the album at Madison Square Garden on September 10 for the first time ever. Watch the trailer for the event below.
