Grace Talks "You Don't Own Me" & Debut EP
We spoke to Aussie soul singer Grace about "You Don't Own Me" and her debut EP.

Grace dropped her debut LP, FMA (it stands for Forgive My Attitude), last week and has been busily promoting the record with TV appearances and live performances. The Australian soul singer dropped by The Today Show this morning (July 6) to belt out new single “Hell Of A Girl” and showed off the range and confidence that have made her one of the year’s most buzzed-about newcomers. If you need convincing that there’s more to her than “You Don’t Own Me,” watch this.

Speaking of Grace’s update of Lesley Gore’s 1963 smash, the track looks set to rise even further up the charts in the coming weeks with a major sync on The Suicide Squad trailer. Produced by the legendary Quincy Jones and Parker Ighile, “You Don’t Own Me” is already top 20 on iTunes and has peaked, thus far, at number 62 on the Billboard Hot 100. It reached number 1 in Australia and number 4 in the UK. Watch the rising star in action up top.
