To Dallas, From Bey
Beyoncé speaks out once again, this time to honor the five police officers killed in Dallas.

Beyoncé and Jay Z supported Serena Williams at Wimbledon as she played for — and won — her 22nd Grand Slam title. The hip-hop royal couple sat in Serena’s box, reminding fans of how Bey in particular has cheered on the tennis superstar in the past.

Two years ago, Beyoncé wrote an open letter to Serena, congratulating her on her French Open Final win against Maria Sharapova — her 16th Grand Slam title. (“You have no idea how much you inspire all of us women,” Beyoncé wrote.) Then there is the “Sorry” video. While Beyoncé sits at a throne, Serena twerks beside her, both women appearing majestic.

“I have known the director [Kahlil Joseph] since I was like 9 years old,” Serena said back in March. “I know Beyoncé pretty well, so they were like, ‘We would love for you to be in this particular song. It’s about strength and it’s about courage and that’s what we see you as.'”
