Zayn’s “wHo”: Hear A Snippet Of The ‘Ghostbusters’ Track
Zayn Malik gets surprisingly emotional in “wHo,” off the official Ghostbusters soundtrack. That is, according to a snippet that surfaced today (July 10). “Who you gonna call,” he sings, referencing Ray Parker Jr.’s original 1984 theme-turned-Hot 100 chart-topper. But unlike Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott, who reinterpret Parker’s “Ghostbusters” for the film, Zayn isn’t ready for action. Based on this sneak peek, anyway, “wHo” is this airy, midtempo pop-R&B track that he could have included in solo debut Mind of Mine. “Who you gonna call / when you need somebody, when you need someone,” Zayn sings. Ghostbusters: Original Movie Picture Soundtrack, out July 15, also features DMX, Passion Pit, Walk the Moon and G-Eazy, among others. Hear the snippet of Zayn’s “wHo” below.
