Drake‘s mighty run atop the Billboard 200 with Views comes to a stop at nine weeks, thanks to the return of veteran pop-punkers Blink 182 with new album California. It’s the trio’s first studio release in five years, as well as their first since the 2015 departure of guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge. The 40 year old was subsequently replaced by Alkaline Trio‘s Matt Skiba.

California wound up moving 186,000 units in its first week, 172,000 of which were traditional sales. You have to look back 15 years to the last time Blink 182 topped the album chart, when 2001’s Take Off Your Pants And Jacket hit #1.

Elsewhere, 20 years after his debut LP’s release, Maxwell also makes a comeback, with fifth studio album blackSUMMERS’night. The set goes in at #3 with 57,000 copies sold (and a total of 59,000 units).

Other than that, it’s the same old players making minor moves up and down.
