The Black Lives Matter movement is in full force as black Americans continue to be publicly executed by police with shocking frequency, and celebrities are becoming increasingly outspoken and frustrated. So news site Mic has decided to pool some of those voices, getting a couple dozen of today’s biggest stars together for a very powerful video called 23 Ways You Can Be Killed If You Are Black In America.

It kicks off with Alicia Keys saying “Failing to signal a lane change,” citing the Sandra Bland case. Beyoncé then spotlights the recent Philando Castile death, stating, “Riding in your girlfriend’s car with a child in the back.” Other reasons include: selling CDs, walking away from police, walking toward police, making eye contact and laughing.

Rihanna, Pharrell, Janelle Monáe, A$AP Rocky, Pink, Chance The Rapper, Common, Queen Latifah, Talib Kweli, Swizz Beatz, Lenny Kravitz, Bono, Jennifer Hudson and Adam Levine are the rest of the musicians involved. Kevin Hart, Chris Rock and Taraji P. Henson are among the non-music celebs who took part.

It is devastating, and necessary. Watch it below, and follow the entire Twitter thread here.
