When it comes to Azealia Banks, it’s best to let her own words do the talking. So here we go. She posted a string of Facebook updates overnight, alleging that Taylor Swift stole the “Slay-Z” nickname from her for one of the “Bad Blood” characters. Banks also claims that she coined the “witch-hop” genre label, and implies Lady Gaga copied it by calling her next album Artpop (this isn’t the first time she’s made a claim like this against Gaga).

While lobbing those darts, Banks made a salient point about getting heavily criticized merely for tweeting, while her male contemporaries get more leeway even when they engage in real-world bad shit like drug dealing, gun violence, domestic abuse, etc. (That said, not all of her bad behavior is confined to social media.)
