Cory Monteith Remembered By ‘Glee’ Castmates Three Years After His Death

Three years ago this week, Cory Monteith, the beloved 31-year-old star of Glee who played Finn Hudson, was found dead in a Vancouver hotel. As we stated here on Idolator at the time, “in its first four seasons, the one constant was that Glee had heart, something that kept at least a sizable, core group of Gleeks coming back each week. No character personified that over the past four years more than Finn. And that heart beat — and beat loudly and true — because of Cory Monteith.”

In March 2015, Glee wrapped its run after five seasons. But three years after his death, Monteith’s onetime co-stars like Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Dianna Agron, Kevin McHale, Chord Overstreet and Jenna Ushkowitz still remember him vividly, and fondly.

Three years ago my best friend wasabout to get married, I was 7 months pregnant and was delivered the news that Cory had passed I was weary to get too emotional in fear that I would go into labor too early. Not only was cory the most genuine, always the guy to stop and say hi to fans, but he made everyone around him laugh….obv this photo is proof. He was our family. We miss u bud. #3yearswithoutcory
