You Tried It: The Good, The Bad & The Taylor Swift Of This Week’s Reader Comments
What a week it’s been. The pop music world has kept us entertained with a plethora of song releases, as well as its fair share of hilarious drama.
Let’s look back. Britney Spears released her long awaited single “Make Me,” which left us reflecting on how far she’s come since 1998. Everyone seems to be feuding with Taylor Swift, including Calvin Harris, Kim and Kanye (again), and Azealia Banks. And here at Idolator, we spoke with Hozier on his upcoming music and rated Katy Perry’s anthem for the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics “Rise.”
As we do every Friday, we’ve gathered some of this week’s best (and worst) reader’s comments. Let’s revisit them, shall we?
Should Be Arrested For Overusing Sarcasm: Mike Mortel
Not everyone was thrilled with the release of Britney’s latest single “Make Me,” featuring G-Eazy. This man either just learned the art of sarcasm, or maybe REALLY wanted to get his point across.
Gee I cant wait to hear the song from this NO TALENT “singer” lmfao. I can’t wait to hear ALL the COMPUTER GENERATED sounds and voice> I am sure it took som many talented people to come up with the BRILLIANT lyrics too…and DEFINITELY can’t wait until this no talent start LIP SYNCING it when performing it “live”.. LMFAO….
Most Likely To Rescue Britney From A Troll: Steven Lowe
Of course, Britney has her loyal fans as well.
T-Swift’s Biggest Hater Next To Kim And Kanye: Jesús Zamudio-Guzmán Marín
Some people are just sick of hearing about T-Swift’s drama.
Most Likely To Creepy Stare At Hozier Through His Bedroom Window: Michelle (@mybvrlie)
Is it his long, dreamy hair, or his soothing voice? Who knows, but I think Michelle has a thing for Hozier.
@Hozier @idolator You have always so many *funny, important or deadly weird* things to say.. Talking with you could last forever I think.

Truth Teller Of The Week: Jessica Cabe
Azealia Banks thinks T-Swift and Lady Gaga copied her. But Jessica is here to keep Banks in check.
