Colbie Caillat Unveils The Cover Of New Single “Goldmine”

Colbie Caillat is set to return with a new single called “Goldmine,” which is the first taste of her sixth LP, The Malibu Sessions. The 31-year-old revealed the cover and release date (July 22) on Instagram this morning and if the artwork is any indication, it looks like we’re in for some good, old Californian pop/rock with a summery, beachy vibe. (I’ve got my fingers crossed for something along the lines of 2011 hit “Brighter Than The Sun”).

Two years have passed since the release of the hitmaker’s underrated Gypsy Heart album, which spawned the platinum-selling hit “Try.” Since then she has co-written a song for Hilary Duff (buzz single “Chasing The Sun”) and contributed a song to The Walking Dead soundtrack. It will be great to hear her unique brand of sun-drenched singer/songwriter pop back on the radio.

My new song "Goldmine" comes out Fridayyyyy 💛😊🌅 7-22-16
