Pop Perspective: Demi Lovato's "Body Say"
We rate and review Demi Lovato's sexy new single "Body Say." See what it got out of 10.

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas grace the cover of Billboard magazine to promote their joint Future Now tour, which kicked off in Atlanta, Georgia on June 29. The stylish couple dress up for the cover shoot, rocking full evening wear. However, they are decidedly more grounded in the accompanying interview. The “Body Say” diva opens up about repairing their friendship post-rehab (“after treatment, I had to have some time sober before I wasn’t embarrassed to talk to him”), while Nick shares his reaction: “I was angry, because a week before I pleaded with her to confide in me.”

And it just gets more real from there. Demi freely admits to not being a fan of Nick’s ex-girlfriend, Olivia Culpo. “Honestly, I didn’t like her anyway,” she says. “It’s not because she’s mean or anything, but he has such a great sense of humor and I want him to be with someone that makes him laugh.” Nick is just as frank when addressing those gay-baiting accusations. “Think about my past and where my love for performance comes from — musical theater,” he says. “And playing this gay fighter in a very macho world for Kingdom… I do it with respect and honor.”

That leaves us with this gem about Demi’s recent Instagram rant about Mariah Carey. When asked if Mimi’s team had reached out, the 23-year-old says: “No. I’m sure she’s sitting on diamond records not giving a fuck what I have to say. That’s fine.” Read the full interview here.
