While the release date of Iggy Azalea’s sophomore LP, Digital Distortion, is still a mystery, the Australian rapper sheds some light on the issue in a new interview with Las Vegas Weekly. “My album is finished, but I’ve been blindsided by a lot of things happening in my personal life recently,” she says in reference to her break-up with basketball star Nick Young. “[I] just needed to have some me time to get my life in order and process the changes that are happening in my private life.”

The 26-year-old then confirmed that she’s avoiding features on album two. “I didn’t make a collaboration-heavy album this time around,” Iggy explained. “The only collaboration on the album is with rapper YG, who I worked with on my first mixtape. And maybe one or two other rappers on some remixes.” The four-time Grammy nominee then let the cat out of the bag when asked about an upcoming performance at Hakkasan’s Jewel nightclub.

“Yes, I’m performing ‘Team,’ nothing else off the album this time around, but [I] am playing at Jewel again in [August] and my album will be out then,” she said. “So I’m sure the second show will include an expanded and newer setlist.” There you have it — Digital Distortion is due next month. Doesn’t that mean a new single should be just around the corner? Read the full interview here.
