Era Istrefi's "BonBon" (English Version)
Era Istrefi has a hit on her hands with "BonBon." Listen to the new English version.

Era Istrefi is shaping up to be one of 2016’s break-out pop stars thanks to “BonBon.” Recorded in the Kosovo-Albanian diva’s native tongue, the track wreaked havoc on the charts in Europe and the Middle East earlier this year. The unstoppable anthem recently got an English-language overhaul for Australia and the US, which is part of a new remix EP (out today). All five cuts are good, but I particularly like Marshmello’s upbeat makeover and the rap remix featuring Post Malone.

The 21-year-old’s verse is a surprisingly natural fit for Era’s international smash, adding a little hip-hop flavor to a song that already sounds like the best song not on Rihanna’s ANTI LP. “Is you listening to what I say? And when we in bed we ain’t gonna lay,” the “White Iverson” hitmaker quips, before the rising pop star takes back the reigns. If “BonBon” is going to work on US radio, this is the version that’s going to do it. Listen below.
