Grace Talks "You Don't Own Me" & Debut EP
We spoke to Aussie soul singer Grace about "You Don't Own Me" and her debut EP.

Grace filled in for Bebe Rexha on The Today Show this morning (July 26), singing the chorus on G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself & I.” It’s a fairly daunting task given the song’s massive popularity and the A.Y.F. diva’s distinctive tone, but the Aussie teenager proves up to the challenge — adding a new dimension to the moody anthem with her soulful, smoky vocals. I’m still partial to the original (probably because I’ve heard it 3000 times), but this comes very, very close.

Of course, Grace and G-Eazy previously collaborated on “You Don’t Own Me” — a song that exploded internationally and came tantalizingly close to taking off stateside. The good news is that there’s no shortage of quality material on the rising singer’s debut LP FMA, which includes future hits like “Hell Of A Girl” and “How To Love Me.” As for the rapper? Well, he has his hands full with features on Britney Spears’ “Make Me” and Marc Bassey’s “You & Me.”
