Selena Gomez's 'Revival': Album Review
Selena Gomez's 'Revival' LP is a career-defining gem. Read our detailed review.

Selena Gomez has bounced back from a rare publicity misstep (she got roasted on social media in the wake of Taylor-gate) by releasing a personal statement admitting she needs “to rethink some areas.” That was followed by a record-breaking week on Instagram — this pic garnered five million likes — and the release of an acoustic snippet of “Kill Em With Kindness” on Twitter. “Coming soon,” she wrote. “Thank you for all the love. I love you guys, God bless.”

While we wait for the full version of that to arrive, Brazilian DJ Country Club Martini Crew (real name Lucas Fantinel) has delivered an unofficial acoustic overhaul of Revival highlight “Me & The Rhythm.” It’s utterly charming and a timely reminder of the depth of the album. I know Selena’s working on new music, but it seems somehow shameful to let pristine pop anthems like this go to waste. Take a listen below.
