Kanye West has been one of TIDAL’s biggest supporters. As part owner, he made The Life of Pablo exclusively available to stream there. But that decision only seemed to exacerbate the streaming wars among services, and so for all his patience, ‘Ye isn’t having it anymore.

“This Tidal Apple beef is fucking up the music game,” he said on Twitter, adding, “Fuck this dick swinging contest. We all gon be dead in 100 Years. Let the kids have the music. Apple give Jay his check for Tidal now and stop trying to act like you Steve.”

Kanye was talking to Tim Cook, who became Apple’s CEO after the late Steve Jobs. He also called for Tim, Jay Z and Apple Music darling Drake, among others, to either talk by phone or in person next week. Talks between TIDAL and Apple reportedly began in late June.
