Drake & Kanye West Tease Joint Album Again

Kanye West and Drake have reignited speculation about their joint album. During the second night of Drake’s OVO Fest on Monday (August 1), Kanye was a surprise performer, doing “Pop Style” and some Pablo cuts. And during his appearance he asked the crowd, “I got one question for you. Is y’all ready for this album? Stop stop stop, I wasn’t talking about Pablo. I wasn’t talking about VIEWS. I wanna ask y’all right now: Are y’all ready for this album?”

Then, he pointed at Drake, and Drake pointed back at him and West added, “Aight, we be dropping shit.”

Of course, never believe anything an artist says about new releases during a concert, but this isn’t the first time they’ve hinted at this project. Earlier this year, during an interview with Zane Lowe, Drake said the following about his working relationship with West: “I hope we get some more music out ASAP. We had plans. We were supposed to do a mixtape together, or album together.” And a year before that, right after “Wolves” first debuted, Kanye revealed the song was originally envisioned as the title track to a collaborative project with Drake (which may explain why it still sounded Drake-y with Vic Mensa on it).

And there was this hint:
