Iggy Azalea opens up about Adam Lambert's judging style on 'X Factor' Australia.

Ariana Grande and Adam Lambert were down to clown during the August 4 season finale of ABC’s Greatest Hits. The former tackled two Whitney Houston songs, “How Will I Know” and “Queen of the Night,” while dressed as if she stepped off the same steampunk universe that Rihanna conquered a few years ago. The latter covered George Michael‘s “Faith” as if doing karaoke with his pals, which is completely fine. There is no reason you should take ABC’s Greatest Hits too seriously, not when this show is no-brainer family entertainment.

But the finale also featured Celine Dion. She was broadcast remotely from Montreal for “My Heart Will Go On,” which she has performed a million times before and could have easily phoned in. But Celine sang it with as much heart and sincerity as she likely did the first time, no less because she had her late husband René Angélil in mind. “’My Heart Will Go On’ has been an important song in my life for nearly two decades,” she said. “Now, and tonight, I’m very honored to sing it for all of you. And for the love of my life, Rene, you will always be in my heart.”

Celine didn’t have to take Greatest Hits too seriously, but she did and the show was all the better for it.
