Sevyn Streeter Announces New Single “Prolly” Featuring Gucci Mane
Here’s some great news for music-starved Sevyn fans! The R&B siren, who landed a top 30 hit in 2013 with “It Won’t Stop,” returns on Friday (August 12) with new single “Prolly.” The track boasts a feature from Gucci Mane and finds the 30-year-old experimenting with an edgier hip-hop sound. “Feelin’ bent like a limbo,” she sings over grimy beats. “Careless as a whisper cup, filled with liquor.” Needless to say, this is shaping up to be a huge banger.
The “Boomerang” diva was busy in 2015 — dropping an EP and a series of remixes from a female perspective. This year should see the release of her debut LP On The Verge, which sums up her “thoughts, desires, fears, tears, emotional ups, downs, good times, drunk nights & unforgettable memories.” While we wait for that to arrive, listen to a snippet of “Prolly” below.
