Zen-like LeAnn Rimes is all about inner peace these days, as evidenced by her current single “The Story.” The song, a Brandi Carlile cover released in June, is an empowerment anthem that Rimes no doubt feels reflects her ups and downs as a result of her relationship with actor Eddie Cibrian.
Naturally a dramatic video was shot to accompany the self-help power ballad. It’s a simple affair — one that relies heavily on closeup shots of the 33-year-old Texas singer, including a scene where she begins to break down and cry while facing the camera.
