Sam Bruno Returns With “Tip Of My Tongue”: Premiere

Sam Bruno generated serious heat last summer when her debut single was greeted with near-universal praise. “Search Party” showed off the singer/songwriter’s knack for blending mellow electronica with pop hooks and hip-hop swagger, while her writing credit on Kanye West’s “The One” added extra credibility. She then hit the studio with Britney Spears, before going quiet on us. That is until now. The mysterious diva returns today with another summer staple called “Tip Of My Tongue.”

A slinky synth-anthem with a vintage twist, Sam’s latest is seriously sexy. “You’re on the tip of my tongue and I’m loving the taste,” she coos on the chorus. “You’re on the tip of my tongue and I want you to stay.” Her inspiration for the track? “When my team and I were writing and producing ‘Tip Of My Tongue,’ we were having a lot of fun,” the still-mysterious newcomer explains. “I’m a ’90s chick and it’s dripping in 90’s flavor. It’s sensual and cool and I can’t wait for the world to hear it.” We’re excited to premiere the song below.
