Where Is Demi Lovato’s “Body Say” Video?
What’s going on with Demi Lovato’s “Body Say”? The sexy single has been out for six weeks and there’s still no sign of a video. There are no teasers on the pop star’s Instagram and she hasn’t tweeted out a link since the beginning of August. Instead, she seems to be focussed on new material. “Recordin a doooopppee ass song today,” the 23-year-old tweeted yesterday (August 10). “Can’t wait for y’all to hear it.” It’s almost as if the Sir Nolan-produced bop never existed.
Maybe the song was too lightweight for Demi 2.0? “It’s songs like ‘Stone Cold’ that I don’t get tired of singing on tour,” she told Latina in May. “I get tired of singing ‘Give Your Heart A Break’ and even ‘Confident’ already. I have yet to reach my peak, and also, my voice is better now than it was a year ago. Now I can show people what I can do.” I’m all for the diva’s power-ballad era, but a little levity never hurt anyone and “Body Say” didn’t deserve this fate.
