You Tried It: The Good, The Bad & The No New Frank Ocean Album Of This Week’s Reader Comments

Despite the disappointment surrounding Frank Ocean‘s album roll-out, the pop world continues to move on. Our wounds may soon be soothed by new Lady Gaga music, and we have an abundance of new tunes to hold us over in the meantime. Carly Rae Jepsen and Danny L. Harle dropped the catchy track “Super Natural,” and Christina Aguilera and Nile Rodgers released “Telepathy,” proving that pop collaborations are more alive than ever. Britney Spears is inspiring extremely mixed reactions to single “Clumsy,” like only Britney can do. And for some reason, Snoop Dogg is trying to make himself relevant again with a response album to Lemonade and a food show with Martha Stewart.

With all this new music surfacing (and not *cough* Frank Ocean *cough*), our readers had a lot to say. So let’s take a look at this week’s reader comments.

Most Likely To Go Gaga’s Sassy New Best Friend: Drew

Rumor has it that Lady Gaga is expected to finally drop a new single sometime in the next 30 days. This ensued a whole lot of excitement.

“I need this more than Bieber needs sensitivity training.”

Most Likely To Reveal Secret Celeb Identities: Michael Ridd

Snoop Dogg is making an album response to Lemonade, leaving some people to wonder who he reallyyyy is.

Most Likely To Take The Words Straight From Your Mouth: Fraser Hynd

Some people seem to have a few questions about Britney Spears’ upcoming Carpool Karaoke with James Corden.

Guru Of the Week: The Beats Alive

With more Britney news surfacing, the pop star’s lovers and haters seem to be coming out as well. Wisdom can be scarce during these gossipy times. But it’s massively appreciated when it does.

“She’s happy with this music and happy in life, that’s what is most important. Everyone is gonna have their opinions about her as an artist but her spirit and charisma as a person will always be infectious. Be excited for what’s next because nostalgia is far behind us and what once was is now something even more beautiful. #Glory”

Most Likely To Be The Only Cosplayer At A Xtina Concert:  Sailor_V90

Christina Aguilera and Nile Rodgers paired up for the track “Telepathy,” one of several songs that will be featured on the Netflix show The Get Down. Break out the platforms and disco pants.

“Yasss! I got my roller skates and booty shorts on!!! I’m bopping up and down the roller rink right now!!!”
