Jhené Aiko Is Moving Forward: Listen To Her Track “New Balance”
Jhené Aiko has dropped “New Balance,” her first song since her recent divorce from producer Dot da Genius. Aiko shared the song’s lyrics on her Tumblr on Sunday (August 14), and after some prompting from Big Sean, the singer officially posted the track on her SoundCloud.

The song is a heartrending ballad, as Aiko gently coos about a new love over a piano-laden melody. “Then there’s you/ You’ve got something I’ve been wanting/ You’re so new/ You’re my salvage, you’re my balance,” she croons in the track’s poignant chorus. Not to mention, this song might’ve also been written for her TWENTY88 partner. After releasing the number, Aiko retweeted a fan who noted that the song was written for Sean and added three blue hearts to make the message clear.
