If you live in the UK, then you know The Saturdays from the 13 Top 10 singles they’ve racked up since 2008, including the chart-topping Sean Paul collab “What About Us.” And if you live in the US, then you might recall the girl group from the lone season of their E! reality series Chasing The Saturdays, which aired in early 2013 and, um, failed to ignite their American career.

Regardless, one-fifth of the pop act, Mollie King, will officially make a stab at solo stardom this Friday (August 19) with the release of “Back To You,” a song that’s said to be about her ex, model David Gandy.

“I wrote this song in the last year and it’s a really personal record for me,” King tells Glamour. “It’s obviously about a relationship that’s on and off, it’s probably not the right one but you keep going back to that guy and it’s just a bit of a vicious cycle.”

As for the status of The Saturdays, Mollie says in the same interview that the group is on “a break,” but “we are always going to be a band.” She also lets on that her solo album will arrive in 2017.
