LÉON Covers Drake & Rihanna’s “Too Good”: Premiere
LÉON generated huge buzz in 2015 with debut single “Tired Of Talking.” (It was so good, Katy Perry gave her seal of approval!) The Swedish pop diva followed it up with the equally-great “Nobody Cares” and cemented her status as One To Watch with excellent debut EP, Treasure. She hasn’t released anything since then, which makes her acoustic cover of Drake and Rihanna’s summer smash “Too Good” cause for celebration. We’re excited to premiere it up top.
“Too Good is one of my favorite songs by Drake and the lyrics really spoke to me the first time I heard it,” LÉON says of the cover. “It’s not really the typical love song, it’s very honest and something you can relate to.” The rising star’s beautiful, stripped-back interpretation shows off her powerful pipes and is yet another reminder that her debut LP (due this fall) is going to be something special.
